Downtown Monthly ArtWalks! The Biddeford ArtWalk, held on the Final Friday* of each month, is run by a small committee of downtown merchants under the umbrella of a new arts organization, Engine. The Heart of Biddeford is a venue on the ArtWalk and provides gallery space for artists in its Main Street office. Here’s what the Journal Tribune had to say recently about the Biddeford ArtWalk: “The event is a community builder that brings people downtown, allows for networking, and offers a chance to view local artwork.” In 2010, the January, February, March and April events will be held solely indoors at the North Dam Mill, 2 Main Street, to beat the nasty winter weather. In May, the event will again move outdoors to various downtown venues in addition to the mill. Join the crowds, meet old friends, make new ones at this great community event. Artists and craftsmen will be exhibiting fine art, photography, sculpture, crafts and performing arts. The event is open to other exhibitors also. Inquire by emailing info@biddefordartwalk.com.
